This is a very good meatloaf that I will be making again. I prefer the stuffed meatloaf recipe from this site, but this is something a little different because of the sweetness from the topping. My husband really liked it and we will be making this one again.

My boyfriend and I loved this recipe! I really used it as a jump off and added a few extras to the meat (fresh minced garlic and pepper) and to the glaze (a dab of BBQ sauce and used mustard ) and it was a success! My boyfriend, who warned me before dinner that he isn't a Meatloaf kinda guy, asked for seconds and was looking forward to leftovers the next day! Easy to make, very tasty and lots of room to make it your own.

My picky husband even loved this! I used turkey meat and cooked it on a cookie sheet like I read in one review, which worked very well. The meat needed a little more seasoning, so I'll take the advice of other reviews next time and use the onion soup mix. Great recipe!

This is an excellent meatloaf recipe. Up until finding this one, i used an old standby recipe that was handed down to me from my mom. I only tried this because of all the rave reviews it got, and it definately is a keeper!! My husband liked this one better than my old recipe. I did make a few changes only because I did not have a few ingredients on hand... Instead of chopped onion and the bouillon granules, i used a packet of Lipton Onion soup, which I think added great flavor. I also used a cup of italian breadcrumbs instead of the cut up bread slices, but next time i will substitute oatmeal becuase i like the texture oatmeal gives meatloaf over the breadcrumbs. The sauce is rather sweet, but that is just the way we like it at our house!! Thanks for a great recipe! Two thumbs up!

Not bad. The sauce was good, but the meatloaf was a little dry.

This is by far the best meatloaf I have ever made. The flavor was excellent and my husband who rarely likes meatloaf loved it. I made a little extra glaze because he likes a lot. Overall this was simple and delicious.

This was such a easy and inexpensive recipe. Both my son and boyfriend loved it! Like the other reviews recommended, I used seasoned bread crumbs instead of bread slices. I will definately make this again soon.

This is the best meatloaf. I didn't have any beef granules on hand so I used onion soup mix instead and I loved it-so did my husband. Thanks for the recipe!

I LOVED this meatloaf. I really am not a big fan of meatloaf, but my husband liked his moms recipe, so I figured I'd try this one out because of the rave reviews. Im so glad I did! He said it was better then hers! I ended up doubling it and making 2 loafs to feed my husbands family as well. They all loved it! I served it with the corn cassarole recipe I found on here, yum! Things I changed: I took another readers advice and used a tube of crushed Ritz, and couldnt find boullion granules, so didnt put that in. We dont like onions, so I just put half a packet of onion soup mix in (thanks to those who recommended that!). But even that made it a little 'onioney' to me, but no one else. I also only had lime juice on hand, so used that instead of lemon, didn't notice a difference. The top glaze is what MAKES this meatloaf, but if you aren't into sweets you might want to reduce the sugar, my husband scraped a lot of it off on his second piece, lol. I cooked it for nearly the 10 mins, then turned the broiler on high for the last few mins to get it a little carmeley, but watch it close!! Hope this was helpful!

This was very tasty. I only used one pound of beef, and less lemon juice than the recipe required. I also topped my individual, hand-formed loaves with bacon. I adjusted the other ingredients as needed, except for the egg. I used pretzel flips instead of bread.

I made this meatloaf for supper and it was delicious. I did add a little extra ketchup to the sauce mix to make it a little saucier, but other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. YUM! It is great with Home-Style Scalloped Potatoes which can also be found on this site.

Excellent recipe. I made meatloaf once in the past. It turned out to be hard and dry. I thought I would never be able to make a good meatloaf... until I came across this recipe. I followed the recipe except that I don't have gound mustard on hand so I used good old yellow mustard instead. The meatloaf was moist and tasty. The glaze was so delicious. My family absolutely love this dish. And I am really surprised how easy it is to make. I will definately make it again and again.

Best. Meatloaf. Ever. This was delicious. Like others, I used a cup of breadcrumbs because I didn't fancy having big pieces of bread in there. Also, I had way too much glaze left over to up on top of it, so next time I will put 2/3 in the mix, and only leave 1/3 to glaze with. Both of my kids asked for seconds (which rarely happens!)
