I needed something different to do with extra ham. This was perfect! The ground pork cut the "hammy" taste of the ham and the mustard & apple cider with brown sugar glaze created a great "Ying/Yang" taste. I used regular yellow bottled mustard so I cut back on vinegar 1T. Generally, I am not a ham fan. I loved it.

We really liked this recipe....very tasty! I was worried about the glaze....I don't like vinegar much and didn't like the smell of the glaze...but it was very good when combined with the ham. This would make nice party "finger food."

I made these ham balls, but my family didn't like them. A taste that we aren't used to I guess.

You took this recipe from Taste of Home, it is even their picture you are using from their magazine :) I am a TOH fanatic so I recognized it right away! I only tried making these once but lol I tried using shaved ham and it wasn't a good substitute!

I prefer my ham loaf or balls without glaze, but my daughter who hates ham loaf or balls loved this recipe. Both my daughter's and my husband gave it a 2 thumbs up and I have to agree. It was easy to prepare and it freezes well to be baked at a later time. Thanks for sharing.

This would be ok for a pot luck but it was too sweet to be a main dish. My husband and son did not like it. It was ok but not great.

very good and easy to make. I used 1 jar of Catalina dressing and a jar of orange marmalade with about 1/2 cup brown sugar. Yummo!
