My husband added a few more spices to jazz things up a little, but this basic sauce is so good! We fried our wings first and then tossed them in the sauce. Then put in a baking dish covered with foil on low in the oven until ready to serve. The extra baking time helped to seal in the flavors. Yum!

Made as recipe states using less soy than called for, and added some garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. I did bake the wings about 15 mins then turned them over for another 15 mins. I then drained off any juices and put the sauce on, and baked until they were nice and gooey. These were awesome! Will keep this recipe! Hubby loved this one!

I've been using this website for years because I love to try new recipes. I wanted to do a simple chicken wing dinner, but didn't want anything spicy. I saw this recipe and decided to give it a try. I followed it exactly except I took in account some of the other reviews and used a little less soy sauce. I had about 17 wings and used about 1/2 cup soy, 3/4 cup honey, and 3/4 cup original flavor bbq sauce. I seasoned the wings with Old Bay Lemon & Herb, Garlic Powder, and Pepper and it turned out delicious. The kids and hubby gobbled it up. There was barely enough for seconds! I highly recommend this recipe. :)

Very easy and everyone seemed to like them. They got a little burned looking by the end of the cooking time, though. For the sake of the dishwasher, put some foile in the pan because the residue is very sticky.

Bake chicken first @ 400 degrees for 40 min - then add 1/2 of the sauce - cook another 15 min - change pans, add rest of sauce and bake another 15 min - turning once

I tried this recipe in the slow cooker instead of the oven. Of course, it turned out more like a marinade than a glaze, but still pretty tasty!

The taste was good but I had to make some adjustments. I did what one reviewer suggested and seasoned the wings with lemon pepper seasoning, popped them into the oven for 25 mins and then added the sauce to it, baked the whole pan for 1 hour. The problem was that there was way too much sauce and though the taste was good, it didn't caramelize as well as I'd hoped it would. Next time, I will do all of the above, except cut the portion of the sauce down to about 1/2 of what it currently calls for now.

We really enjoyed this recipe-and also use the method to cook other parts of chicken. Definitely cooking the wings/legs/thigh first before adding the sauce is best to cook off the fat to allow the sauce to stick to the chicken.

It was pretty good. I cooked the chicken for 20 min before adding the glaze, as suggested by others. I would say that there is too much soy sauce in the glaze. If I make this again, I will cut the amount of soy sauce in half.

These are fantastic! I buy fresh drummettes. I find they don't have a lot of fat or an excess of skin on them. I season them lightly with kosher salt, pepper, and garlic salt. Next, I pop them in the oven for 10 min on each side just to crisp them up a bit. I taste test my sauce then pour over the drummies on a foil lined pan. I find they need to bake at least an hour after that. We like the sauce to be thick and gooey. Delish!

This was a very easy recipe which was delicious. I made it for my niece's graduation party. I used frozen chicken wings, thawed and cleaned them before seasoning them. I cooked the wings first before using the the ingredients in the recipe as is, basting it. It was very tasty.

These are ok. My guests liked them enough however I did not. They are very greasy and kinda on the slimy side. I think they might need to be cooked for about 1/2 hour w/o the sauce to dry them out a little and then basted a bunch of times. I do think the recipe has potential but I will not make them as stated again. Thanks for the idea!

My husband really liked these and wants me to put them on the regular dinner menu. I thought they were pretty good, but I might try to cook down the sauce a bit to make it stick to the chicken more.

Talk about easy and delicious!! I probably used a little less soy sauce and barbecue sauce and the soy sauce I have is low sodium but they came out perfect! I didn't flip them or anything and I think I left them in about an hour -- still great! YUM!
