I'm really sick and needed something to help soothe my aching throat and comfort my sore body. I used black tea bags and let them soak a little longer, as I like a stronger tea. I was shocked that my kids also liked this, they begged for more. I think the ginger is a little overpowering, next time I may cut back a little and I might add a little cinnamon and nutmeg. This was very comforting. I'm still surprized my kids liked this! NOTE: I did use NF milk.

I do not care for this at all... I agree with the reviewer that said it tastes like warm milk. The ginger made it bitter, and it barely has a tea taste. Will not make this again.

I just made this tea my "regular" way of pouring boiling water over the tea bag, honey, and ginger. I added the milk after the tea steeped a bit. Found this is to be an unusual taste combination, perhaps because I used Earl Grey tea. I'll try again using black tea, because I did think it was a soothing drink.

I made this to soothe swollen vocal chords. Used fresh, thinly sliced ginger boiled in water. Delicious stuff!

I find this tea very soothing on the nerves and stomach, I always use Earl Gray tea bags and Acacia honey because it tastes the best

I'm sorry, I really didn't like this tea. I'm not exactly sure what happened. I followed the recipe exactly, and it turned out to taste more like spiced milk then tea. While I'm sure some people may enjoy it, I'm not a huge fan of warm milk so this tea didn't do it for me.

lovely and warming on a cold evening. I would use a little less honey in future as it was a touch too sweet. I will definitley make it again

This makes a very good cup of tea. I am going to make it again, this time with 4 tea bags as I thought the flavor needed to be a bit stronger. I used black tea. Quick, easy and warming-esp. on a cold fall day. Thanks for the recipe! P.S. I don't drink coffee at all, but I do like drinks like this.

I used fresh ginger instead of ground, and then strained the tea into my cup. The fresh ginger gave it a nice bite, similar to black pepper in real chai. My husband loved it. We'll be making lots more.

This was nice for a change - even nicer with a splash of fresh lemon juice - and it certainly is soothing on a tickly throat. Thanks!
