DELICIOUS! these cookies are great! I would like to try adding fresh ginger next time in addition to the ground ginger, b/c although they were 'spiced' they were just not quite spicy enough. very moist and chewy though. mmm, I will definitely make these again.

This is the best cookie I have ever eaten. I believe the orange peel is the secret to these delicious cookies. The recipe is perfect as is. I do not like cloves so I was a bit skeptical. My eight and ten year old sons chose these over the chocolate chip cookies I had made earlier. I did bake them for 15 minutes because my German husband likes his cookies crunchy. They were still perfecly chewy on the inside. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe!!

This recipe was perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to make and the cookies tasted delicious. I strongly recommend this recipe and will be making them again very soon.
