I sliced my flank steak into thin strips before marinading so it could absorb more flavor and then skewered and grilled them. I also added extra ginger to the marinade. It turned out great!!

I did not find this recipe at all to my satisfaction. I may try it one more time on the outdoor grill, but I wouldn't use it again for stovetop preparation.

Easy marinade, and everyone seemed to like it. A quick meal, once the marinating is done. Thanks!

Delicious!! My flank steak started marinating Wednesday around noon, the day before Thanksgiving, as I intended to serve this for dinner Wednesday night. HOWEVER, with all the hustle-bustle and guests coming and going, I did not get to make this until SATURDAY evening. The flavor was mild and smooth without being overpowering...the meat was incredibly tender and moist. I pan seared my meat and then cut it into slices for fajitas. Because we like jalapenos, I sliced some along with onions and added it to the meat after it had cooked just a bit and served with tortillas. My husband was so tired of turkey that this was a very nice change. The flavor was wonderful! Thank you for a very nice recipe which I will make again!

Wow. Delicious. I marinated it overnight and made it in a skillet, and it was to die for. Served it with asparagus and mashed potatoes.

I marinated it overnight - the meat was juicy and flavorful. I used a bit more ginger than called for.

I tried this marinade on rib eye steaks and grilled them on "The Big Green Egg" with mesquite wood chips and those had to be the best tasting steaks I have ever cooked! I don't think I will ever cook rib eyes any other way.

Definitely had a great flavor. I marinated overnight though (total of about 30 hours) and it was way too long - the flavor was just way too strong. I'd recommend 8 hours max. Like other users I used more ginger than recommended, and thought it blended with the rest of the flavors very nicely.

This is the best marinade ever!!! Used Flatiron steak but Flank would be good too. Served it to my step-daughter and her boyfried who's a chef and they love it.

Pretty good marinade and very easy to make. However, it's not my favorite on all recipes.

Very VERY good. I love flank steak because it's soooo good marinated. I think I'm going to add a bit more ginger next time because I love the ginger flavor.

Wonderfully easy to throw marinade together, then it is quick and easy to cook on the grill. I never seem to have fresh ginger on hand so I use about a teaspoon or so of ground ginger.
