Fast, easy and flavorful - what more can you ask? I served it with green beans sauteed in garlic with almond slivers and black beans. This will definitely get added to the recipe rotation in my house!

The garlic and ginger with the honey, soy saucei and balsamic were incredible. I didn't use any oils. No extra fat is needed -ever. We prepared mahi-mahi and portobello mushrooms then grilled serving the final product over greens. The 'dressing' was enough for the greens. I'd make this again..no oils because fat is fat- there are many other ways to create flavor.

My teenaged son and I made this as one of his 'cooking lessons' and we really enjoyed it. I followed the directions (w/exception of substituting 1/2t dried ginger) but I didn't panfry it on the cooktop. I followed the cooking directions of reviewer "Hula-Kahlua" (Feb 2009) and baked it in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes while thickening/cooking the marinade in a saucepan on the cooktop. The fish was flavorful and moist without the sauce, but DEFINITELY serve it with this delicious sauce.

This ingredient list is amazing! My kids love it. I made it with the following changes: 1. cheaper swai/tilapia from sams 2. and baked it for a few 3. roughly chopped the garlic because i like how crunchy it comes out when broiled. 4. served with white rice 5. topped with sliced green onions Notes: I think the key to this is to use a better quality honey and soy sauce. I like tamari style better than kikkoman. Also, it's better to spend a little extra time making sure it's all thoroughly mixed.

Great recipe. I used cod instead of mahi mahi as it's what I had on hand. I served this with rice and asparagus. The only change I might make next time is to add some spice to it.
