Absolutely delicious! My husband raved about how good this was throughout the meal. Instead of a glass dish I put the marinade ingredients in a ziptop baggie, squished them around and put the fish in it. As others mentioned I too baked the fish to reduce fat. I was in a hurry so didn't take time to make the reduction which I was sorry about once we were eating. Also, I was out of fresh garlic and ginger so used powdered; can't wait to make it with the fresh spices. Served it with a brown rice dish. I'm trying to find more easy, nutrious fish recipies and this will now be a regular for us. Thanks!

I didn't really like it. The recipe really didn't have much flavor. I was real disappointed:(

I found this to be incredibly easy and delicious. My only adjustment is that I didn't add any ginger. The flavor was still tangy. I will definitely make this again. Thank you!

I followed the recipe to a T and found it to be okay. Maybe adding some chopped nuts would help.

This was so easy and so yummy. I used ginger powder and garlic powder. The end result was wonderful and the sauce so good over the fish. I served with brown rice.

This was a big hit. It's similar to a salmon marinade we use often, but without the orange juice. It goes well with mahi and would work well with other fish as well.

Fantastic flavor! One of the easiest fish recipes I have ever made. Love it! I'm making it for the second time tonight! My balsamic vinegar is pretty sweet, and I like a lower glycemic index sweetener, so to make it a bit less sweet, more sour and to add a bit of heat, I used agave nectar instead of honey, added a bit of key lime juice, and some habanero chili sauce. Tip for the ginger: keep a piece of ginger root in your freezer. When you need fresh ginger, you can easily break off a piece, peel it and grate it, all while still frozen, and it's way easier than when it's not frozen.

This was great! The only change I made was to grill the mahi mahi. I think this will be good with salmon too. Thanks for posting!

Not my favorite recipe--the vinegar taste was too strong and I could barely taste the ginger, though I followed the recipe exactly (though I baked the fillets instead of grilled them). I might try this recipe again without the vinegar and with doubling the amount of ginger. Might also add a smidge of orange juice since I'm taking out the vinegar.

I love this recipe! I tried it with frozen Mahi at first, and it did burn quickly but I blame that on my inexperience with cooking fish (My dad always cooked the fish). Regardless of the burn, it was still very good. I think the sauce/marinade is very versatile and so far I have made it with the recommended Mahi, wings, shrimp, and tonight I'm trying it with chicken! I prefer to bake or grill to reduce fat, and is perfect served with brown rice and sugar snap peas!
