The gin and tonic... Two ingredients that many folks love to hate! I, however, enjoy the flavor of gin, and I'm learning to appreciate tonic water. I recommend staying away from diet tonic, though! Yuck! A good rule of thumb is 1 part gin to two parts tonic. Add a squeeze of lemon (or lime, if you prefer). I think the tablespoon of lime juice and wedge of lime are a bit much for me. Like another reviewer, I've also tried this with a splash of Rose's sweetened lime juice instead. Refreshing!

Instead of the fresh lime juice; add 1/2 to 1 shot of Rose's Lime Juice. Great!

Very good, easy & refreshing. I use Diet Tonic & less lime. I love lime, but 1 T is too much for me. Thanks!

I really dont like these. You just have to have the right taste buds for this drink. Its to much of a bitter drink for me.

My British friend had expressed a liking for Gin & Tonics so I surprised him at dinner last night. He thought it was superb! So this rating is for him. Thank you!

It's hard to believe that at my age I had never experienced a gin and tonic until last Saturday. I know people love them so when my friend offered me a sip of his I eagerly went for it. All I can say is, you've gotta love tonic to drink this stuff. Cubby, I'm not putting down your recipe at all; tonic is tonic and I guess you either love it or hate it.

To us Brits, a G&T comes with a wedge of lemon. Lime will do at a push, but lemon is the way to go!

The lime juice is a perfect addition! I added a little (1/2 oz.) more gin for my taste.
