Was fabulous! I made the torte exactly as shown in the recipe, but I didn't have milk chocolate for the frosting so I used cocoa powder and some white sugar instead - and it turned out wonderful. Everyone raved, and I will definitely make this again.
It was delicious but I think the frosting needs some "help". It was too sweet so I'll use semi-sweet chocolate next time, and it needs to be able to stiffen - I'll add meringue power or cream of tarter
It had a good taste but it wasn't exceptional. I think I would choose a different icing as well; the whipped cream was too sweet.
So love this as I am DarkChocoholic, don't need the flour, do need the protein!
I put raspberries on it. We thought it was a little dry next time I may try smashing raspberries and putting them in in the middle.
