"I make them these deviled eggs and refrigerate them in a glass gallon jar for my husband to sell at his tavern. The customers love them! I found the recipe in an old cookbook years ago."

You know I have never had a pickled egg in my life? My husband loves them except he just tosses hard-boiled eggs into leftover pickle juice and I thought there had to be a better method. Well, this is it! My husband and his friends said these are the best pickled eggs they've ever eaten in their lives! I added 1 hot banana pepper and about 1 tbsp of the juice into the brine because I thought the heat of the pepper might go nicely with the sweet/savory spices that are in this recipe. It was delicious.

My mom makes these every once in a while. We, avid pink pickled egg fans, all loved them. Most liked them better than the usual kind. They were very full of spice, but not too sour. She made the pink ones again on Thanksgiving, but I'm hopeful for the yellow ones at Christmas.

Came out really well! I marinated them for 3 days, and used 1/2 of the sugar called for - they were still plenty sweet for my taste. I served them sliced in half with a bit of the chopped, pickled onions on top of each one.

I've never had a pickled egg before, so it's hard for me to gauge this recipe against others;I have to say, though, that these are SO good!

This was a little different than I expected. The eggs were sweet like bread and butter pickles. I would have liked this much better if it wasn't so sweet, plus it's a lot of work!

I have been searching for years for a good Pickled Egg recipe. Thank goodness I found this site. These turned out great! The mustard makes this recipe a bit different from the rest of the ones that I have tried. Perfect! Thank You!
