A little time consuming, but well worth it. Very tasty!

I made this recipe and another potato recipe for a dinner party for 14 people. Everyone decided that this was the best. Now it is requested for all of our gatherings. It is easy and if you're lucky enough to have any leftovers, it is great the next day.

I didn't think my husband would go for German potato salad (I loved it as a kid) but he's crazy about this and has already requested it again. I added chopped boiled eggs like my mother did and it tastes just like hers. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

This was a big hit with my family on 4th of July. My mother-in-law has to really watch her cholesterol, so I used pre-cooked bacon, and just heated it in a pan with a little olive oil, and used that instead of the bacon fat for the dressing. It was healty for her, and delicious for the family!

April must be a North Dakota lasse. This is just like what my aunt use to make when I was a kid. My aunt generally used red potatoes, which I still prefer.

I made this dish with new potatoes instead of russet potatoes and it worked really well. I think next time I would add more vinegar as April suggested.
