Disappeared in about two days...and that is only because we are trying very hard to stick to the weight watchers program! Would have disappeared in about an hour otherwise I think. It was absolutely delicious!!!!

I am a German teacher and on food day I gave this recipe to some students to make. The moms liked it because it was easy to make and the kids could help. The kids loved it because it was delicious!

This apple cake is absolutely fantastic, and disappears in seconds! Everybody always requests this cake when they come over! It is especially good when molasses is added....it gives it an extra-rich and chewy texture!

I would give this one a 5 star + - I think it is a keeper! I put it in my large glass pie plates and it looks very nice(bake a few minutes less).

This is a great cake. I live in New England so I always looking for new apple recipes for the fall. I'll definitely use this one again. The only trouble I had was that the batter was so thick I had to add about 1/4 cup water to be able to stir the apples into it.

Hmmmm, maybe it was just me, but we did not enjoy this cake at all. It was very oily. We will not make this again.

What a great recipe! I altered the recipe a little - used golden delicious apples, left their peel on, and added more apple than called for - the cake turned out wonderful! I'm very impressed! I'm definitely making this one again!

I found this to be a very easy recipe to prepare. It looks quite odd before it bakes but is very delicious. The only problem: eat it the day you make it or it isn't as good and becomes very heavy.
