California Sunset

This is the perfect summer evening cocktail; nice and cool, but not too sweet. For those of you who cannot stand dry vermouth, trust me. Neither did I until my husband made a mistake. Please be sitting down when you drink this, eh? Preferably facing west!

This is my holiday version of a white Russian. It is smooth, almost chocolaty, and not overpowering.

A delicious shooter that looks like a mini-pint of Guinness. Also learned this one in London.

I always think of the sidecar as a brandy margarita, except that it is made with fresh lemon juice.

Lemon-lime soda is spiked with whiskey, triple sec and a dash of sweet and sour mix. This was given to me by my aunt, it's divine!
