A wonderful recipe. I followed the recipe exactly except that I made only 4 servings, and they were 4 very generous servings. It was a great complementary dish to veal piccata!

I REALLY love the texture of orzo, and this is a rich and tasty side dish. When I made it, I actually added a bit more cheese and milk like one of the other reviews had suggested, and I think I overdid it. Best to just stick with the original.

Cut back some on the butter and substituted basil for the parsley. Will definitely make this again...great side for broiled tilapia!

This is a simple, very flavorful side dish that would work well with many dishes. I served it with spinach enchiladas (on this site) and it worked well. It is easy to taste the garlic and parmesan. I made the mistake of adding all the topping ingredients to the pan and dumping the orzo on top before stirring. I had a couple of cheese clumps I could not dissolve. Still, very yummy.

This side dish was fantastic! It was quick to make and absolutely delicious. I am going to try sauteing some shrimp and adding to this dish - I believe it would make a great main course as well.

Just made this and it was delicious!!! I tweeked the recipe a little...added a few tsps of chicken base to the water to boil the orzo in and added a little of the pasta water to the sauce, and also added a little chopped basil at the end. Yum!

Very yummy stuff. I used basil instead of parsley. Family loved it creamy but still nice and light for the summer!

What an amazing side dish!!! I cut the butter to 1/4 c. and added a finely diced onion along with the garlic. I found it also needed a tad more milk. The entire family raved.

This is an excellent recipe. The only thing that I did differently was add in some extra parmesan cheese (because we love cheese). I served it with salmon and a veggie.
