The garlic adds zing and the butter makes these potatoes smooth. Kids may not like the garlic, but more sophisticated palates will love them. New potatoes are especially nice in this recipe.

I thought these were some of the best Potatoes I had ever had. They make a really nice side dish to the baked chicken and julianne carrots.

Yummy. Hubby said to leave out the minced garlic next time... But then they wouldn't be "GARLIC" mashed potatoes...oh well can't please everyone all the time...haha
