OMG is right! Used 3/4 c. breadcrumbs, 4 T. parsley for a little extra comfort effect. Also used 1/3 c. butter plus 12 cloves of FRESH garlic. OUTSTANDING!!!

I pounded the chicken flat so that there was more breading to chicken ratio.

My daughter is a young college student just learning to cook. After getting settled in her new apartment, she wanted to cook dinner for her grandparents, her sister and myself. She asked for suggestions and I steered her toward this recipe. I felt it was basic enough, and easy enough, not involving a lot of cooking utensils and stuff she didn't have. She followed the recipe exactly and it turned out really well. It was good and flavorful (I could have used more garlic)and she was very pleased with herself. Everyone enjoyed it and really isn't that the bottom line?

Easy to make and sooo yummy. I would recommend using a little less butter, sometimes it comes out too oily. But it's delish and I love all the garlic flavor.

Good, even though I too had to use a minimum of 4 cloves of garlic - it's rare that I use anything less than that anyway. I was hoping this would be similar to Macaroni Grill's Pollo Milanese, which it wasn't quite - maybe with more lemon juice, even a little more garlic, and maybe Italian bread crumbs and some extra basil, it might have more "pop." That said, I still enjoyed it, and it was even better on the second day; the flavors had more of a chance to meld.

pretty good basic recipe but I still can't stop laughing about "garlic lovers" chicken! I use more garlic in a dish that doesn't call for garlic...anyway thanks

Cooking is a bit scary for me (baking is more my thing) but I made this for my parents tonight and they loved it! I guess I shouldn't be scared of a little chicken! :)

This was good. My husband really enjoyed it. My only complaint was that the breading was not crispy at all. The flavor was great. Next time I will do as others have done and put under broiler for a short time. Quick and easy recipe.

I definitely agree this one needs more garlic than it calls for. I had somewhat big chicken breasts so I turned up the heat to 400 degrees after the 30 minutes and cooked it for another 10-15 minutes. Came out very moist but needed more kick. Will make again.

Excellent!!! I followed the recipe with a few adjustments. Added more garlic (4 cloves), broiled it the last 5-10min. (brown/crispy) with crumbled gorgonzola cheese. The gorgonzola gives it a kick! BTW- I left a few pieces without cheese for the kids. Fantastic chicken recipe.

This recipie was great!!! I definately agree with everyone else that you need way more garlic than described. It also makes a HUGE difference to put a layer of breadcrumbs on the pan first, then bread the chicken and then put them on top. Kept them from sticking. Great recipie!!! Lots of great flavor!
