This is a delicious bread, and it can be made without a bread machine. First, combine the sugar, salt, and flour. Cut in the butter and add the sour cream. Heat the water up to 110 degrees, and then dissolve the yeast in it. Add the dissolved yeast to the flour mixture. Knead for 6-8 minutes, or until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to coat the top, and cover and let rise for an hour. Punch down the dough, and then shape into the balls. From here on, you can follow the recipe.
