This was really good, but I was short on time so I streamlined it a bit. After I warmed the oil and garlic, (I made extra so I could saute fresh spinach), I poured the whole bit in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. I rotated the breasts in the oil, and then I sprinkled the breadcrumbs on top of the chicken. Finally I topped w/ shredded parm. cheese. I served this w/ angel hair pasta, marinara sauce, and sauteed spinach. It was really good, and if you ladled a bit of the marinara over the chicken it tasted like chicken parm. Will make again!

The chicken turned out very yummy. I would only make one adjustment to make this a 5-star recipe. I would either pound the chicken before cooking it in order to make it more tender or slice each chicken breast half into two thinner pieces (but then you would need to adjust cooking time). The problem I encountered with using just a chicken breast half is that it was way too thick and the flavor didn't get all the way through to the center.

This is one terrific recipe! Super easy and everybody loved it. I made it just as written except that I minced two cloves of garlic instead of crushing 2 tsps. I was very pleased with the accuracy of the amounts- no waste. Thank you Carol!!

The best tasting and easiest baked chicken breast I have ever made. I added a little salt to the bread crumb mixture.

This was very good and we will make again. It was great for a quick meal. Unfortunately we were out of bread crumbs (how does that happen!), so I got out the Cuisinart and crushed saltine crackers in its place. That worked just fine. Will need to try the original recipe sometime. Served with buttered parmesan noodles and fresh green beans.

For how simple and easy this recipe is it sure is good! It is very basic but I think the key is dipping the chicken in the garlic and olive oil first then breading it! This chicken is SO JUICY and that has to be why. I have basically been making the same exact thing for years but I always would dip the chicken in egg and milk then bread it. Anyways it is so good and even my VERY picky 2 1/2 year old son loves this chicken! We always top it with a lemon garlic butter sauce and make it once a week!

Very good. Very easy. I used 2 tsp. minced garlic (from a jar) and butter. The garlic smelled very strong while cooking, but it tasted mild. I used Parmigiano Reggiano, good grief that is expensive cheese....I've never bought it before. Anyway, I digress. I will make this again.

Absolutely delicious and so easy! I served this for my boyfriend's parents when they came over to visit. I followed a few of the suggestions made and they came out so moist and flavorful. I doubled the recipe, but it only made 6 chicken breasts 1) Baked at 375 for 30 min 2) Pounded chicken breasts 3) Used 1/4 c olive oil & 1/4 c melted butter w/ crushed garlic. 4) Heated the oil, butter, and garlic in the microwave 5) Marinated the chicken in the oil, butter, garlic mixture for an hour 6) Used fresh grated Parmesan cheese and Italian flavored bread crumbs The dinner received rave reviews! Thank you so much for this recipe!!!

Loved this recipe. I pounded my chicken so it would be even. I did use butter as some had recommended, it tasted great. I also added some seasoning salt to my breading. a very yummy and versatile recip for not much work!
