This is a fantastic recipe! A true comfort food! My fiancé and I both loved it. He just kept saying "wow, baby". I sprinkled the garlic powder, paprika, salt, & pepper on the chicken. Next, I dipped it in the egg & milk mixture. Then I coated the chicken with the bread crumb/flour mixture (I used crushed croutons). I think next time I will add more bread crumbs and maybe do 6 minutes on each side. I like a more crispy texture. Overall this is great recipe that I will make again and again. Thanks!!

Great! Tastes like Runza chicken strips to us. Fabulous flavor on the outside, and the chicken was tender on the inside. I did use Crisco rather than oil to fry them.

Loved how moist on the inside but crispy on the outside they were. I plan to use this recipe a lot.

Great chicken. I followed someone else's review, and marinaded the chicken in buttermilk and salt, garlic and papriks for a night. They turned out very juicy on in the inside. I took these to a picnic, and people liked them, but the coating had gone a bit soft. Next time, I'll try eating them straight off the stove!

i halved the recipe but kept the amount of spices the same (basically used half the amount of bread crumbs, flour, milk and chicken called for) and ended up with very moist and flavorful chicken. i used a piece in a sandwich with swiss, tomato and lettuce and that tasted wonderful too!

This was good, but could have used more of a garlic taste.

This recipe was wonderful! I actually didn't increase the garlic powder like some other reviewers, and it was still great. And the chicken turned out really tender.

Wow! I changed the measurements to tablespoons instead of teaspoons (except for the salt) and marinated the chicken in buttermilk for about an hour. I dipped the chicken into the flour mixture, then egg mixture, then into bread crumbs. The breading stayed on and the chicken was amazing! My husband is a picky person and loved this. We fought over who was going to get the leftover for lunch the next day! I'm going to bread everything with this!

I loved the taste of this chicken. As suggested by another reviewer, I soaked it in buttermilk for a few hours. I baked this after browning it on both sides in the pan. I had problems with the breading not sticking to the chicken. Next time I will try dipping in dry ingredients, then wet, and then dry again.
