Garlic Cheese Logs

Original Recipe Yield 2 logs
 

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the Cheddar cheese, cream cheese, pecans, mayonnaise, lemon juice and garlic. Form into 2 or 3 logs. Sprinkle each log with paprika. Chill the logs until firm, about 2 hours.
  2. Slice each log into rounds as needed, and serve with crackers.
