This was good. I used italian panko and floured chicken before dipping in garlic butter. Still had trouble with panko mixture sticking to chicken, but I just pressed it on there and it worked. Served with side of roasted potatoes from the grill. Boyfriend loved it. We both dipped it in marinara sauce.

This is a good recipe to add to your chicken rotation. We left out the Parmesan (didn't have any) and I did turn on the broiler for a few minutes to crisp up a little bit.

Yummy! I only used 6 chicken breasts for this recipe. I added 2 extra cloves of garlic. Also I was out of plain bread crumbs so I used Italian seasoned bread crumbs. I had to melt an extra 1/4 c. of butter to get it to make it for only 6. I will be making this again. Thanks!

Fairly easy and quick to make. Next time I will use finer grated cheese. With all the butter and cheese, the drippings are great for sopping.

I really enjoyed this recipe. I used panko bread crumbs and I didn't add the salt. I did have some problem with the bread crumb mixture sticking. I think I need to shred the cheeses finer. Next time I will pound the chicken breasts to make them all the same thickness.

This recipe has potential - used the panko breadcrumbs as other suggested and they were great. I didn't care for the cheddar cheese, however. The taste didn't seem to fit. Next time I will try mozzarella or monterey jack for a different flavor.

This is by far the BEST chicken recipe ever!!! I have just baked it and can't get enough. I would not change anything (I used cajun seasoning instead of pepper because I ran out:) AWESOME!!!

The flavor of this dish was excellent. I'm not sure if I pounded the chicken thin enough, I had to cook this much longer than 30 minutes and was still a little nervouse that the chicken wasnt completely done. Boyfriend loved it, overall good!

A big hit with the family. Followed recipe exactly, pounding the chicken breast first, and spreading a thin layer of bread crumbs in the dish as others suggested. Put under the broiler for the last minute or so, giving us crispy-on-the-outside, juicy-on-the-inside yumminess!

Very good! I think I'll leave the salt out next time, as it was a bit salty for our liking, but otherwise, it was great!

A favorite in our house. And whenever I can get my fiance to say "very tasty" about chicken, I know I've done well! Best if you pound the chicken breasts to make them thinner. Good with Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli from this site and some pasta.

An acceptable, but rather ordinary chicken recipe--kind of "ho hum." I'm sure I would have been a bigger fan of this when I was still cooking for my kids when they were younger, but as grown-ups we've moved kind of beyond your average Shake and Bake type chicken. I used crushed cornflakes rather than crumbs, and dill for the oregano, but nothing made this chicken "wake up." On the upside, this is a "safe" chicken recipe, as even the pickiest of eaters wouldn't be able to find something not to like here--no unusual spices or blending of flavors. It was a little too buttery, however, so for those who would like to give this recipe a try I might suggest coating the chicken in egg rather than melted butter, and maybe drizzling a little butter over the top before baking.

This chicken had great flavor and was super easy to prepare. I didn't pound the breasts down out of sheer laziness, so they took about 45 minutes to cook through. After that long, the cheese on top got a little too crispy, but that's my own fault. Very good recipe, we enjoyed it. Thank you :)
