Tender, moist, flavorful chicken with a crispy, buttery coating. I added some garden-fresh onion to my garlic butter and eyeballed the ingredients since I was only making 2 pieces of chicken. My husband and I both loved this recipe. Easy, quick, with ingredients I keep in the kitchen. This will become a staple in our house!

My Fiance loved it, but I wasn't very wow-ed by it. Like other raters said, it is a great base recipe. Just not my cup of tea. Very easy to make though.

This was a hit at my house. My husband and I made it together and this was the first chicken dish that my husband didn't feel the need to put hot sauce on. Paired this with a side of spaghetti marinara to make this a perfect meal.

Delicious! Took some commentor's advice and covered the bottom of my casserole dish with crushed croutons to keep the bottom crispy, and it worked great! I adjusted the recipe to feed my family of 4,but found that 6 rather than 2 cloves of garlic fitted better. I also added some crushed cornflakes into my breading mixture, and that was a nice addition. I found it only took 18 minutes to bake, so don't take the recipe's recommendation! I did however broil it for 2 minutes afterwards, based on one commentor's advice, and it got more brown than I would have liked. So be careful! I don't think broiling is really necessary... it's crispy enough without it I'm sure! Everyone kept raving about this chicken all night. Ooooh, and it smelt GREAT while I was cooking it! Great served with a simple iceberg lettuce salad :)

I made the Garlic cheddar chicken for dinner tonight and we LOVED it!! I didn't have fresh grated parmesan so I used the Kraft dry grated about 1/3 cup instead. IT IS NOW OUR FAVORITE!!

This was the first recipe we used from allrecipes. My husband and I loved it! He is a very picky eater, so it worked out great for him. I'm sure this recipe will be used many more times to come.

Yummy, yummy! I used some of the tips listed by the other users like mixing 1/2 oil & 1/2 butter & putting breadcrumbs at the bottom of the pan to keep the chicken from getting soggy. I recieved so many compliments on this dish, I will definetly be making it weekly!

This chicken definitely deserves a "hall of fame" rating! Is is soooo good! The only change I made was to replace half of the butter with olive oil to make it a "tad" healthier. I was tempted to use Italian seasoned bread crumbs, but decided to follow the recipe and use plain, with the seasonings added. It's perfect that way - just the oregano, salt, pepper, and then the garlic from the sauce. Yum!

Great meal! I rarely follow recipes to the letter (I am from the Rachel Ray school of measuring) but this one was great as is. I used Italian seasoned bread crumbs, added a little more parsley and oregano, and used equal amounts of parmesan and cheddar cheeses. I also used another reviewer's tip and sprinkled the bottom of the pan w/ bread crumbs. The family really enjoyed this!

After reading the reviews, this is what I did: Instead of using 8 chicken breasts, I used 4 big ones and 1 tiny one, which fit in the pan perfectly. I did not scale the other ingredients down except the butter. I only used one stick (1/4 cup) of butter. I crushed up some ritz, saltines and corn flakes and used some dry bread crumbs to make one cup. I dipped the chicken in flour before dipping in the garlic butter. I used an aluminum pan, and sprinkled a generous amount of bread crumbs on the bottom of the pan so that the chicken would not get soggy. (I found that it was hard for the breading mixture to stick to the chicken). I baked it (uncovered) for 50-55 minutes, and it was delicious! The kids loved it, too.

I didn't measure out anything, just threw together all ingredients as I wanted for 2 small chicken breasts. Very good! I used fresh parsley for an added yum!

This recipe is delicious! It provides a different "spin" on chicken. My husband is a picky eater, but loved this recipe! I just put foil down to eliminate the mess from the oven baked cheese. Thanks!

I would give this a five, but I didn't have bread crumbs, and don't like to rate things a 5 when I didn't use the true recipe. That said I LOVED this recipe. We do have leftovers but completely on purpose. My only compliant abotu this is it was swimming in grease, but the chicken didn't taste greasy at all. I will ABSOLUTELY make this again. Thank you thank you thank you!!

This may not be my favorite but this is pretty good. Not a 5 star home run, but it's not bad at all. Comes in handy when you have one of those days when you are trying to figure out what to cook.

This was fantastic--even my picky eaters cleared their plates! I followed others' suggestions, using Panko instead of regular bread crumbs, greasing the pan and sprinkling a few crumbs in there first. It was perfect! We'll have this again and again!
