I love this recipe. I have made it about a dozen times and used it for garlic bread. I cut the garlic salt in half.

This is a very good recipe, excellent for bread and potatoes I can see. Definitely do go easy on the spices, you can always and should flavor to your taste. I did only 1 tsp. of garlic salt, and about 1/2 tsp. of regular salt. From there I just fine tuned it. The paprika is just good for color. Thanks Denyse.

This is wonderful! Like others I swapped the garlic salt for garlic powder. I also didn't have Italian seasoning so I used a basil/thyme blend. I think next time I'll leave out the paprika - it made the butter an ugly color.

This is so versatile!!! You can use it to butter noodles, make garlic bread/toast, dab some on a steak, add to baked potatoes... The possiblities are endless. I have to make a batch on a weekly basis since we use it for EVERYTHING! I would either use more butter to make up for the garlic salt or less garlic salt with the stated amount of butter. I also nixed the paprika as I didn't know exactly how that would make it taste and it still tasted great!

OMG ! This butter poses a danger to my hips ! It's the best I've ever had and simply PERFECTO ! I followed I'm nuts to advice and used 1 tsp of garlic power and 1/4 tsp of salt... was perfect ! Thanks so much for this recipe ! I'm keeping it and will not longer be looking for another.

What can say - yum! Yum! Yum! This made the best garlic bread ever, and I also used it to cool floured fresh fish in which was fantastic! This will be permanent in my fridge!

Tasty! Omitted the paprika and used Spectrum spread in place of butter since that's all I had.

Verrry good! I only gave 4 stars because, like other reviewers, I didn't use the garlic salt. Instead, I used 1 tsp garlic powder and 1/4 tsp salt. This was perfect and can be used in many ways!

Should have backed off the garlic salt and used powder instead. Used fresh roasted garlic. YUMMY made to use them as crutons.
