Made this tonight for boyfriend and a guest - was delicious and pretty healthy. I used more like 1/4 cup of garlic (in my opinion, you can never have too much garlic, and once I mixed it in with everything else, it didn't seem like too much), used Trader Joes' Papardelle pasta instead of rice, and added in chopped fresh parsley at the end (that's important - it would have been much more bland looking and tasting without that). It was great - I think next time I'll mix in a little heavy cream in the end to liven up the pasta and give it a creamier flavor. But all in all - delicious!!

In keeping true to my Spanish host mom's style, I didn't use lemon juice (but wish I had..), used olive oil instead of butter, and realllly upped the garlic. Served with crusty bread and sliced tomatoes drizzled with olive oil, vinegar and salt.

Very very good. Not quite as good as I have had, but I will definitely make this again. Thank you!

This was my first time making shrimp. I am highly allergic to shrimp, but, I wanted to make a special dinner for my hubby. He loved it. This recipe is so easy. I used frozen raw deveined shrimp and served this with noodles. I wish I could have tasted it. Thanks for the recipe!!

Quick and easy....I didn't use the lemon juice and I served over egg noodles instead of rice.

I've tried this and it's good. :) I made a few changes the second time I did this though. I marinated the shrimp in Sprite and I added some seasoning mix. It REALLY tastes good with rice.
