I made this for Thanksgiving dinner as it seemed to be a quick and easy way to jazz up ordinary brussels sprouts. I upped the butter and olive oil to tablespoons instead of teaspoons because it just didn't seem like enough in the pan. I also used frozen brussels sprouts. I didn't change anything else though. I thought they had a great garlic flavor. Really delicious. I don't think I'll be cooking them any other way.

OH MY !!! If you love garlic and you love brussels sprouts you'll LOVE this recipe! My husband and I sat down to dinner to have just a few each and ended up not having anything But these! We must have eaten a pound or so. I have to recommend this one for anybody that doesn't like their sprouts as it is so different from the sameoldsameold and they don't get mushy. I was a bit apprehensive about letting them get so dark but the flavor was very intense.
