Very good garlic bread and easy to make! The remainder I just refriderated so I can make some more in the week. My husband loved this bread, definitely a keeper! I was worried the garlic would be overpowering but it was perfect. Thanks for sharing!

This was very good! I didn't have sage so I skipped it. Cut the oregano in half, but I still thought it was over-powering and will probably use even less next time. Will also try shredded mozzarella cheese next time. YUM!

Came out yummy! I didn't have sage so I was missing that. I put less oregano because of comments.

After reading other reviews, I cut back on the oregano, omitted the salt and spread the mixture on a crusty peasant bread - it was the best! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Very good, if you can keep from thinking of all the fat and calories in it! It doesn't need the salt.

very good, nice taste but I used a bread that had lots of holes in it and it was too thin. Next time I will use a regular french stick.

This garlic bread was delicious and easy to prepare. I was a little bit shy of 1/2 cup on the butter, so I added a bit of olive oil. It turned out very well- I will definitely make this again. Watch the edges of the bread so as not to burn!

Fantastique is right! I had a large round loaf of Italian bread. I eyeballed the oregano so as not to overdo and also used parsley flakes. I served with Chili by George!! for Opening Game Day today and there is very little of either left. Very yummy!

This is really good - next time I will use fresher bread, and less oregano. I also think topping it with some shredded mozzarella and crushed red pepper would really be great!

I made this to go along with To Die for Fettuccine Alfredo. It was super great but the oregano was kinda overpowering. I should've reduced it a tinch but I followed the recipe exactly. The hubby raved about it all evening and said I should make this everytime we have pasta. I'll be making this OFTEN.

This is so simple and good! I did not have french bread, so I used up some left over hamburger buns as suggested on another review. We all loved it!

Pretty tasty! No complaints, but I prefer simple, traditional garlic bread with just butter, salt & garlic powder.

So quick and easy I made this up while my husband was washing up for dinner and setting the table. Now instead of ordering the neighborhood pizza place bread sticks to go with spaghetti or lasagna I just whip this up.

This is really great! I'm making this recipe again the next time I make a pasta dish. I had no baguette but tried it on whole wheat bread instead. Still yummy :)
