Two additions make this appetizer really special: a bit of pesto to the cream cheese and ranch mixture, which I let sit overnight to become more flavorful. Then I add sliced almonds over the top of the finished pizza. Always the first appetizer to disappear!

I followed this recipe exactly and it was just okay. I've had other versions of this before that were better. There was nothing necessarily bad about it, just nothing super about it either. No one at the party commented on it and there was about half the pan left at the end of the gathering. Wouldn't make it again.

My friends and I tried the 4 different versions of this found on this site...you can see them if you check out "More Recipes Like This" on the recipe page. This was the one I chose. I used whole wheat crescent rolls and light cream cheese to make it even healthier. It was a huge hit and will be a regular when I have to bring appetizers for sure. I'm looking forward to trying different vegetable combinations as well.

These were soooo yummy! I made them for a small baby shower, and everyone loved them. There were a few left over after the shower, and I couldn't sleep thinking about them being in my fridge. Temptation got the best of me, and I ate them all up at about 2:00am:)

This recipe is just like the one we used to have at our family gatherings. I made them for a party and they were a hit! Even people who didn't really care for the veggies liked them.

This is one of my favorites. Usually I leave off the broccoli and carrots--the peppers and onion are enough for me.

You really can't go wrong with this recipe. Change the veggies up to your liking (I used carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini and yellow squash chopped in the food processer), or use different veggies based on their color for the season. With the crescent roll and cream cheese/ranch base, the end result will be delish no matter which veggie topping you choose!

Made this for a party over the weekend. I bought 2 things of cresent rolls but only used 1 and a half. I still didnt have enough dressing to cover the whole thing. I think one would be enough. I added some italian cheese. Very good!

Very good appetizer recipe. I didn't think I was going to like the raw veggies on it but I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't have broccoli so I used olives. I also used 2 cans of crescent rolls because of other reviews. I think 1 would have worked just fine though. Thanks for the tasty recipe.

I agree that you really need 2 cans of rolls for this to work. I made it with one and it was way thin. I've had it with 2 and it turns out much better so 3 stars they way its written, 5 if you use 2 cans.

I don't know how anyone gets ONE 8 oz. roll of the crescents to fit in a LARGE baking sheet as recipe suggested. Unless you want a crispified potato chip thin burned crust, then use 2 rolls.

Awesome! These are always the first to go at any party. I have made these many times now and I found that if the cream cheese is room temperture the mixture is a bit softer so you can press the veggies into the cream cheese easier otherwise you lose alot of the veggies when slicing. This recipe is perfect as is or you can change some veggies to suit your taste. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!
