We had this for dinner yesterday night and there's only a couple of pieces left over. Made crescent rolls and ranch dressing from scratch, it's cheaper and surely tastier than the store-bought stuff. Used cauliflower instead of broccoli for personal preference. Thanx :)

Yum! I think it's better if you let it sit in the fridge a few hours prior to serving. A great appetizer, all of the ingredients blend well.

I brought this to a moms club meeting and it was gone SERIOUSLY within 5 minutes! Everyone wanted more. I put broccoli, green onions, carrots, mushrooms and cucumber on it. I'm making two more today for a birthday party.

you can put just about anything on a crescent roll base and it will be awesome. Here's something I tried and it was really good - instead of using regular cream cheese and stirring in ranch, use the garden vegetable flavor cream cheese and stir in just a little mayo. It's sooooo good. I topped with cheese, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower.

I made this as an appetizer on Christmas Eve to go with our many soups and my family loved it! I used two tubes of the crescent rolls and they fit perfectly in my large cookie sheet. I would suggest making more of the cream cheese mixture if you do this though. Mine was spread a little thin. For my veggies I cheated and filled a to go container from my grocery store's deli area salad bar since some of the chopping was already done. I used broccoli, cauliflower, red peppers, purple cabbage, shredded carrots, and green onions. Then I put shredded cheddar cheese over top. Press everything down to make sure it sticks in the cream cheese and also cool the crust completely before you put anything on it. Thanks for a very good recipe!!

This is an awesome appetizer and always goes over very well with everyone. I just soften the cream cheese to room temperature, makes for much easier spreading. The nice thing is you can change this recipe up by changing the veggies you put on top. And be careful not to use too much of the ranch, it's not hard to go overboard by accident.

These turned out great - a nice light party appetizer! The cream cheese spread was delicious with the ranch mix. I omitted the carrots and it was fine.

This is so easy to make and it tastes delicious. I have made it for friends this summer and I just made it for my holiday party at work. People love it, especially my husband. It's a little bit time consuming cutting up the veggies, but it's completely worth the effort. Enjoy!

Every time I make this recipe I get tons of compliments. Even my relatives that hate healthy food chow this down. I too cut down the amount of ranch seasoning to about 1/2 a package, and it's just perfect.

this was a great recipe, but i had to make some alterations. i took out the peppers and the green onions, just because of my own personal taste, and replaced them with cauliflower. i also used shredded carrots instead of chopped. the results were still amazing. i took it to a baby shower, and got many compliments.

Forget the ranch dressing mix and mayo. I just spread the cream cheese on like it is. My favorite vege combination is broccoli, califlower and shredded carrots. I also add shredded cheddar on top of all the veges and push it all down so that if stays put. My friends always ask me to bring this to every party!
