I've probably made this salsa 20 times! Sometimes I add jalapeno pepper since it isn't spicy.

jalapeno makes it better. use oval cherry tomatoes and use more fresh tomatoes in place of canned diced tomatoes

It was edible, but not good. The tomato sauce and paste really added a "canned" flavor to the salsa. It was totally lacking the fresh flavor I was looking for.

This is an excellent salsa recipe. I dropped the celery and carrots and it was still fantastic. My husband practically drinks salsa and I presently have to travel more than an hour to get a salsa that is good. I think it's safe to say that this recipe has helped me to gain hours of my life back!!!

I have made this twice now. My bf and I both like our salsa spicy so I just added 2 jalapeno peppers to the recipe (with seeds). Next time may just do 1 or 1 1/2. Overall - excellent recipe as I brought to work and everyone loved it.

For some reason my first batch tasted very bitter so I added a bunch of mangoes. On subsequent tries I found that only one mango really does the job and gives an excellent salsa. OTOH freezing the batch is not so good because it becomes soupy when thawed. Definitely best when eaten fresh. I also added Marie Sharp's habanero sauce to kick it up a bit. Bon appétit!!

Good Salsa :) I cooked the onions beforehand because I'm not a fan of raw onions. I recommended it :) Yum

Love it!!!! I added an avacado (chopped) and 1 jalepeno pepper. It is still pretty mild with one jalepeno so if you like it hot add another 1 or 2. The best salsa I have ever tasted! My family loves it too.

This is a very good recipe. I only made two alterations. I added about 2 tbsp of lime juice and a jalapeno pepper for spice.
