I have a great tip if you have picky eaters- Such a great, HEALTHY recipe (I had 100% whole wheat spiral noodles on hand). I made the salad as described, but I didn't have any Italian dressing- so I made my own concoction- and made some for my kids who didn't like mine. "Mature tastebuds" dressing: 1/2 c. olive oil 1/8 c. red wine vinegar 1/8 c. garlic rice vinegar 2 TBS olive oil mayo (okay, heaping TBS :) 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. onion powder sprinkle of Italian seasoning (optional, I could have done without this part) 1 tsp+ of garlic powder Shake it, stir it, dish up your bowl and add 2-3 large spoon full of your dressing and mix around. Kid Friendly dressing: 1/4 c. olive oil mayo 1 TBS mustard 1 TBS pickle juice Or whatever your picky eaters like. My kids loved this and it has so many cancer fighters/preventers in it.
