This was a great recipe, but I often end up adding too, so for me it was a basic. I used only one bottle of zesty italian low fat dressing. I also added green onion, 1 can rinsed and drained black beans, 3/4 c frozen corn, raw broccoli, zucchini instead of cucumber, small grape tomatoes instead of regular, red bellpepper, black olives and would have added frozen peas if I had them. I like mostly veggies in a pasta salad! :)
I also added S&P, garlic powder and one elephant garlic cloves as well as some cayenne pepper. This is where I went just a tad overboard! So then I had to add some sour cream and shredded cheddar to tone down the cayenne, next time I'll go lighter on that stuff! :) Took it to a 25 yr anniv and everyone loved it!
