Very rich bars, but very good too. The other reviewer who commented on the texture being similar to a 7 layer bar was right, thats what they kind of remind me of. Next time I will spray the pan or line with parchment paper as the squares stuck a bit to the sides.

The crust was a little dry and I had to add more butter to the crumbs. The finished product was amazing though.

These are super rich but really tasty. Next time I think I will try 3/4 C. of toffee bits because you don't taste them as much as I would like. These are very similar to 7 layer cookies in texture. My DH loved these and made me promise to make these more often.
