After reading the reviews, I think I was expecting something with a little more punch, but it was definitely the best curry chicken salad recipe I've made. I used only half of the mayo it called for and then used non-fat yogurt for the rest, which may be the reason for some of the lack of flavor. I doubled the curry in the recipe and that's a definite must! Also, the golden raisins and pecans really make it. I do love the fact that it's light and seems healthy!

3-1/2 stars. I made this recipe for a small get-together and those who tried it were very complimentary. I ended up using way too much celery (misjudged "a stalk") which i think took away from the salad as a whole (I'm not a huge celery fan). I honestly didn't find that the salad had a lot of flavour. If I make this recipe again I will be using a bit more curry powder--and less celery! On a whole though, a very good chicken salad (if you like chicken salad and curry).

My family really enjoyed this dish, even my VERY picky kids liked it. I omitted the nuts since we're not really a "nutty" family. I added an extra stalk of celery to make up for the loss of crunchiness. Mmmm....this one is a keeper.

I made this recipe for a brunch recently and it was a huge success! Everyone raved about it. The only thing I changed was that I added a little more curry powder, but otherwise it was great. I made it a day ahead of time as well and like the recipe says it helped the flavors meld.

This is by far the best chicken salad ever. Great for summer get togethers but I also serve this year round. I don't really change much in the recipe although I have made it with cherry flavored cranberries. This is always a hit!

I served this for a lunch and it was a big hit. The flavor of the curry was great! I didn't put any nuts in because my granddaughter has a nut allergy but it was great without. I agree with a former review to have extra mayo-curry to mix in before serving.

Next time I will add some spice. I expected the curry to give me more flavor than it did. I even doubled the amount suggested.

My husband and I own a small cheesecake cafe, but have just started serving this recipe for our sandwiches. In just three days, we have repeat customers for the chicken salad alone. It has almost become more popular than the cheesecake, and I didn't think that was possible- We've created "Chicken Salad Junkies" :)

Delicious! I didn't have grapes, so I just increased the other ingredients instead. It was tasty the first day, so I can't wait until later when the flavors have had time to mingle.

Fantastic. The only thing I did different was to sub some of the light mayo for fat free sour cream and added a few drops of balsamic vinegar. YUM! Will definetly be making this again.

Ok, I didn't have the grapes, or the raisans, or the nuts, and it still tasted fantastic! I bet it will taste even better tomorow! I also added a touch of celery salt and onion powder!

Very good! I sauteed the onions lightly first, only because I don't like raw onions. I substituted plain yogurt and a little lemon juice for the low fat mayo to make it a bit healthier. Delicious!

This was the best chicken salad I've ever made or eaten. A big hit! I used a rotisserie chicken and cut the mayo in half with fat free plain yogurt. Also doubled the curry. Can't wait to take it to my next pot luck!
