I'm sure this recipe is delish 'as written' but I changed up just a couple things. I had thought I had bought vanilla pudding, but when I went to prepare it, it was sugar free 'cheesecake' flavor. So I had to use it. Yummmmy! I also whipped 8 oz cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar. Folded the cream cheese into pudding and folded in about 1 cup of the cool whip. I used 1 and a half loaves of store bought angel food cake too. I made this for a 4th of July party and used only fresh strawberries and since the store was out of fresh blueberries, I had to use frozen, but turned out fine. It was a very pretty red/white/blue dish. Everyone liked it, but careful, it's super-rich.

I make this recipes and my friends go nuts over it! I use fat free sugar free vanilla pudding, fresh berries, no pineapple or pear and prepared angel food cake. And low fat or fat free cool whip on top. So good and low calorie too!

I changed this quite a bit to making chocolate angel food cake, using frozen raspberries(thawed) sugar free vanilla pudding mix and lite Cool Whip. I mixed 1/4 cup of Cool whip into already made pudding and used rest of Cool Whip for the layers.Everyone loved this creamy, fruity with pieces of cake dessert!!
