Just the suggestion of putting fresh fruit on a skewer makes this a 5 star recipe. The sauce is awsome, I wouldn't change a thing! I have played around with different fruit to add to the kabobs (grapes, apples, strawberries, etc.); my favorite to add is sliced bananas. I squeeze a little lemon juice (this works well for apples also) on the bananas to keep them from browning. If you are looking for away to get your family to eat fresh fruit, this is the recipe for you.. I am always asked when we are going to have "fruit on a stick" again!
