I used refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough for the crust of one and regular sugar cookie dough for the crust of another. Everyone loved both, but I noticed that the chocolate chip one was gone first.

This recipe is so easy using refrigerated cookie dough that you just roll out. It is very easy for children to make with supervision. I would not hesitate to recommend this recipe at all. Apricot

This is great when you do the fruit topping, but I've done it with other things too to make a "pizza cookie" that the kids really like. Try chocolate frosting with m&ms! Only one comment--the dough is very sticky. I've had to flour my hands and the dough when pressing it into the pizza pan.
