Fruit Cocktail Cake I

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (16 ounce) can fruit cocktail
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Spray one 8 x 8 inch square baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium sized bowl combine flour, white sugar, salt, baking powder, egg, and fruit cocktail. Mix until just combined and pour into the prepared pan. Sprinkle top with the brown sugar.
  3. Bake at 32 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
