I first tasted this rich salad at my wedding reception almost 40 years ago. The ladies who did the cooking wouldn't share the recipe at the time, but I eventually got it. I've made it for many meals...and our daughters copied the recipe when they married. 

Kay's Frozen Fruit Salad

This pastel-hued salad is made with maraschino cherries, pineapple, miniature marshmallows and pecans in a cream cheese, mayonnaise and whipped cream dressing. Freeze for 12 hours before serving.

MY MOTHER-IN-LAW created this recipe using leftover fruit from holiday baking. It tasted so good that it became standard fare every time we had ham or turkey.
