I made these yesterday, thinking they were very similar to a recipe I used years ago - what a disappointment! Easy enough to make, but no taste at all - even with the pineapple juice in the icing its hard to tell they have any flavor. Will have to keep looking for another recipe.

These were really good cookies! They are more of a cake cookie, which I love. So the bottoms didn't get too brown, I baked them on a tinfoil-lined baking sheet. I used the frosting very sparingly as it is REALLY sweet!

Made this cookie for a cookie swap party this past weekend. Didn't like them at all. The frosting tasted like perfume. It wasn't just me either...several others said the same thing! Won't be making them again. Without the frosting, by the way, the cookie is pretty plain and tasteless.

I found that greasing my baking sheet made the bottom of my cookies too brown/crispy. I tried cooking some on a non-stick baking sheet, that I did not grease, and they cooked up much better (the cookies didn't stick at all). I followed the directions exactly but may add a few tablespoons of softened butter to the glaze the next time I bake these as the glaze was pretty runny and dripped beyond the sides of the cookies.

YUM!!! I added coconut and chopped macadamia nuts and it made a wonderful, tropical cookie. I zested and juiced a fresh lemon and mixed in enough powdered sugar to make a glaze -- turned out GREAT!!! Will definitely make again :)

Wonderful light cookies. Great spring time dessert! Like a goof I put too much of the baking powder then realized my error and tried to scoop out the excess. I think that is why my cookies came out very cakelike which I kind of liked. Next time I'll make sure I have an 8oz can of crushed pineapple too. Will definately make them again sometime this year. I made them for a neighborhood get together and there were only about 5 left over. I over heard whispers of who made them and how great they were. Now we have a rule you have to put your name on what you make and have recipes too. LOL

A delightful, charming cookie, easy enough for a novice cookie baker but with enough appeal for an experienced baker who may want something quick with readily available ingredients.

This is a very light, soft cookie. I only used a little bit of icing on the cookies - they're just as good with or without it. My pineapple cookies are usually flat with crisp edges, BUT these were puffy and moist. Will def. make angain and won;t change a thing!
