I stumbled upon this recipe while looking for a frosting recipe. And since I was making orange frosting, I thought why not give these a try too. These are so yummy! A great change from a traditional sugar cookie, they taste so fresh and are great with tea. which is how I am having right now. As per other reviews, I did add in an egg and about 1/2 cup more flour and they are perfect. Dough will be a bit wet, but I used a cookie scoop and they did not spread too much, in fact mine looked just like the picture! Try these you will enjoy. A delicious cookie! Thanks for sharing!

Good. I used orange extract and some lemon zest. (just what I had on hand...) they were a good change from chocolate and sugar cookies.

these were really good i used orange juice instead of doing the whole orange thing. I also added an egg and 1/2 cup of extra flour because i was making them a day before and someone had said they were sticky the next day and they turned out great!! thanks for the recipe i will deff make them again

I personally liked these, but agree with another reviewer that the longest part is preparing the oranges. Unfortanetly, my family didn't care for these cookies. I most likely won't be making them again. Their main concern, was they taste funny.

Great recipe - I made some modifications - added one egg cause I thought i was odd not to have egg in a cookie recipe. For the flour, I mixed one cup of whole wheat flour and one cup of all-purpose flour. As for the orange mixture, I grated two oranges and mixed it with one orange. They came out very orangey, you can taste the freshness of the citrus!

I rarely (or never) make recipes that have this few reviews, but they sounded so good I thought I'd give it a try. They were delicious...a little time consuming with the orange prep and blending. At first the texture was light, moist, and soft. However, the next morning they were a bit too moist and sticky. Almost like a Twinkie type texture/stickiness. I will make them again because they were so yummy and I might see if I can tweak the recipe a bit to create a less sticky product.

First time for baking orange cookies, these are great! Light with a full orange flavor. Was concerned about using too much peel,so cut quantity by half.Next time will use full amount. My family loved these cookies.
