Foreign Devil Fried Rice

My husband is Chinese and I am Western. Between the two of us we came up with this recipe for fried rice that is actually a meal in a bowl. I can do this dish in well under half an hour, and that includes all the chopping. This dish is good for colds, depression, writer's block, stubbed toes, insomnia, heartbreak, religious crises and general crankiness. It can change your life. Yum.

We like this one. The rice is cooked in pineapple juice. A very good beginning. And then its added to a wok-full of tofu, mushrooms, soy sauce, green onions and carrots. Garnish with crushed pineapple and strips of cooked egg. Yumm!

A simple way to make fried rice that is better than in some Chinese restaurants! Boneless chicken breasts are stir fried with white rice, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, green onions and soy sauce.

This is an excellent tasting shrimp dish with Chinese flair. Serve as a side dish or main course, with soy sauce or teriyaki sauce.
