Following the batter instructions left me with a very thick, chunky batter. Wasn't sure if adding more beer would be a wise idea so I just diluted it with water. After tasting the first batch I wasn't super impressed. Added extra salt (probably a total of 1.5 tbs) and the second batch came out delicious.

Made these with corona and seasoned the batter with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic salt. So yummy! Reheated well in the microwave, still nice and crispy. Definitely a keeper!

Very simple and very tasty. The batter has a very mild flavor. I suggest adding spices or hot sauce to the batter before frying.

My FaVoRiTe recipe by far...have tried 5 or 6..even with panko..and I love these. I added garlic powder and let sit for about 10minutes with the beer! A little messy but well worth it

Fabulous made 3 times, for my spice lover I put ground pepper flakes, plain for the rest, season salts for the last batch. each one was wonderful.
