my hubby loved these..he said that they were the best he has ever tasted...i sliced the onions somewhat thin and salted them as soon as they came out of the oil with a very fine salt ( like popcorn salt)....EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!

These are the best. Did have to scale to 12 and have a glass of bok with it. I used a dark beer and the flavor was wonderful. I had a smiling dh ear to ear. Good for Channukah, used olive oil and peanut oil combo. One problem, the kids eat them before they ever get to the table so I gave up and fed them standing. LOL

These are yummy and super quick! Like most fried food they should be eaten right after draining and they do not re-heat well. They're light, airy, cripsy, everthing you could want in an onion ring.

Voila ~ The PERFECT comfort food!! They don't get much better than this. Outstanding ...wouldn't change a thing. Coming home from church today a thought INSTANTLY popped into my head, "Oooooh, wouldn't those French Fried Onion Rings taste perfect right now!" For some reason that thought quite often crosses my mind. Thanks Jill, you done VERY good with this one. :-)

Delicious and just the right taste, only problem I had was with the sparse coating the batter gave the onions. Had to add a considerable amount of flour... Very very easy.
