Directions

  1. Split the soda farl in half horizontally.
  2. Heat oil in skillet over medium high heat. Gently fry soda bread for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until crisp and golden brown. Serve hot, seasoned lightly with salt.

This brings back childhood memories, but my mum always fried the bread along side bacon - great flavor. Not good for the waistline but definitely worth the splurge. A must with an Ulster fry! Thanks - you can guess I am from Ulster.
