Super tasty! My hubby and I gobbled it up. I had to use balsamic vinegar b/c I did not have the cider vinegar. I also added a couple slices of bacon b/c we love bacon. Overall, great taste and easy to make!

Another recipe I found here I haven't made in years. I scaled to 3 servings and left out the sugar and vinegar. While cooking I cover my cabbage to get it to wilt faster. Topped with crumbled turkey bacon.

This was absolutely delicious! I used red wine vinegar as that was the closest I could get to cider... and even though my husband didn't think I cooked the cabbage quite long enough, we both agreed that the flavor was amazing.

This fascinated me how well it turned out. The whole time I was preparing it, it seemed like it wasn't going to be very good and I thought the bacon would be the best part about it, but I was WRONG! This was a fabulous recipe and farely easy to make! Next time I will try someones suggestion of garlic and onion as a sub for the bacon because I try not to eat alot of meat. As is though, 5 stars!

Someone had given me a couple of heads of cabbage and I had no idea what to do with them. This recipe is awesome. I'm looking forward to making it again. The only changes that I made was to add more bacon. Yum!

Really good cabbage recipe!! I misread the directions, well, more like didn't read the directions and after cooking the bacon, used a tab of butter to deglaze the pan and then continued to follow the recipe as written. Turned really yummy.

This recipe is excellent. I followed the directions, then added cubed smoked polish sausage to the cabbage. This was then a one-pan meal. Quick, easy and delicious.

I thought this was great. I made 1/2 recipe. 1 slice of bacon made barely any grease. I used a splash of chicken stock instead of the water.

I FINALLY LIKE CABBAGE! I made this for St. Patricks Day, and usually skip cabbage because I can't stand the taste or the smell, but I had two bowls of this! Even my kids had seconds. I followed the directions exactly, I think it's the bacon that adds extra flavor and makes it so good. (My hubby says everything tastes better with bacon!) Try this recipe!

Thought this was a good cabbage recipe. Followed the directions exactly, except maybe I cooked mine a little longer. After reading another review somewhere, I think I may use the leftovers to make spring rolls.

We love cabbage with bacon. I use pre-cooked bacon to lessen the clean up and saturated fat. I Cook it in the microwave, I use 1 slice of bacon to each cup of cabbage.I never add sugar I add grated Apple instead, a sweet apple with or without the skin.To make this go faster I cook the chopped onion (I use a whole onion)in the microwave in a little oil, about Five minutes till it is translucent then transfer it to my wok pan. I wilt the cabbage in the microwave it becomes a nice bright green. Then add apple and cabbage to wok pan. When cabbage is tender to your liking sprinkle with Cider vinegar and crumbled bacon. This is always a hit.
