I hate tomatoes, therefore I was hugely surprised that I really enjoyed this recipe. However, I can imagine that it is not everyone's cup of tea. I have to say, I was grossed out when I heard the name of it, but a family member told me to try it, and I'm glad I did. It is quite rich, so I suggest making it as a side dish and serving smaller portions. I'll make again if I have extra tomatoes to use up. I made the following changes: - sauteed onions with minced garlic - used 3-4 large peeled and diced tomatoes with salt and pepper (turning them over and over with ample paper towel to ensure maximum moisture is removed - used 1 cup of EACH type of cheese with the 3/4 mayo - sprinkled a bit of Parmesan cheese and mozerella cheese on bottom of pie crust to absorb moisture
