Excellent starter recipe. Like others, I added about a 1/2 c. of chopped cilantro. I also substitute finely chopped green pepper for the jalapeno as my family prefers that. This is very good and a great way to use garden tomatoes.

I really enjoyed this recipe. It has a mellow flavor, which I enjoy. I love to taste the different veggies than all the spices that most recipes have......

LOVE LOVE LOVE this recipe! This is the best salsa ever! So fresh! We planted extra tomatoes in our garden this year for the purpose of making this recipe!

I tried several other salsa recipes on this site and this one is my favorite! I added a few more jalapenos to kick the spiciness up a notch and the next time I make it I think I'll add a few habaneros from my garden as well. Thanks for the base recipe!!!

Quick and easy. I chopped everything in the food processor and added lemon juice (I didn't have limes), green pepper, serrano chile, blueberries and cilantro. I like it.

Pretty good. I added cilantro and blended the ingredients just because we like it thin, not chunky. I am going to try the recommendations of ARMYWIFE99 next time and add the lime juice. But it overall we really enjoyed it.

Great recipe, with a few changes-if you want a more authentic Mexican salsa, leave out the oil, vinegar & cumin-add fresh lime juice & cilantro-you'll think you're in heaven!! Oh, and it's important to us a white onion, not sweet or red. This gets better the longer it sets & serve at room temp.

Absolutely the best!! We wait for this each summer as the garden tomatoes ripen, and the first batch never makes it to the refridgerator!

Not a winner with my family or I. I made 2 different kinds of salsa and no one liked this one. Just tasted like cumin and had too many tomatoes with not enough green. Didn't have a nice fresh salsa taste.

I didn't have the jalapenos but my kids still loved it! We used it as a topping on our version of mexican breakfast burritos.

This recipe was excellent. I don't like spicy salsa and even if you buy mild it is still spicy. Although you can use hot peppers if you prefer it hot. I followed the recipe exactly and it had great flavor. I tried it this winter with canned tomatoes but it didn't taste as good as using fresh ones.

turned out really good, i was thinking it wouldnt be very good because my tomatoes seemed really out of season but it turned out really good. good taste but a whole jalepeno was a bit much, would cutting it in smaller pieces make it less spicy? loved it and so did my wife and friends

I like to add some green and/or red pepper and a splash of lime juice to my fresh salsa. Definately let it sit for at least 24 hours to soak up all the flavors!
