I like to add some green and/or red pepper and a splash of lime juice to my fresh salsa. Definately let it sit for at least 24 hours to soak up all the flavors!

turned out really good, i was thinking it wouldnt be very good because my tomatoes seemed really out of season but it turned out really good. good taste but a whole jalepeno was a bit much, would cutting it in smaller pieces make it less spicy? loved it and so did my wife and friends

I didn't have the jalapenos but my kids still loved it! We used it as a topping on our version of mexican breakfast burritos.

This recipe was excellent. I don't like spicy salsa and even if you buy mild it is still spicy. Although you can use hot peppers if you prefer it hot. I followed the recipe exactly and it had great flavor. I tried it this winter with canned tomatoes but it didn't taste as good as using fresh ones.
