This dressing recipe is great. I changed the apple cider vinegar for pomegranite vinegar which is what i had available and it was awesome. I could taste a lot of vanilla from the yogurt which was not a problem but i'm still wanting to try it with the plain yogurt.
My poor rating is for the dressing only, as the salad itself was fine, though I switched up two of the fruits. I'm a huge fan of fruit in leaf salads, so was really looking forward to this one. The dressing was unbearably tart (I used the suggested plain yogurt and it might have been vastly improved by using vanilla), and tasteless to boot. I had to doctor it right up.
this rating is for the salad dressing, i love it! and cant wait to make it again, the 1 tsp of water is just enough to make it a perfect consistency.
Even my husband who hates spinach and healthy foods in general loved this. Including the dressing - and he's normally a ranch guy. I have to say my raspberries were a bit sour, and the dressing is sorta sour too, but paired with the sweet juicy pineapple and very sweet banana, it was perfect! I even added some pecans for protein (I'm a protein nut!)
