I made this recipe with some variations. I used 3 large english cucumbers. I did not add water. I used 1/2 white wine vnegar, 1/2 sugar, 4 tsp of salt (this draws out alot of the water from the cucumbers, 1 sliced onion and some freshly chopped dill. My kids love this recipe and it is so good and easy to make!

AWESOME!! I am not a big cucumber eater..but this recipe won me over. I was looking for something to make for my husband and ended up liking it myself. Very refreshing and just the right amount of sweet/sour. Of course, I added onion slices and a pinch of garlic powder. I put it into a mason jar and it looked so pretty...I made more and gave a jar to my dad and a few friends. Yep, we had a lot of cukes from the garden=)

This was pretty good but not the classic recipe I was looking for. I felt it was too sweet and missing the flavor I'm used to.

We love this recipe. It is sweet and fresh. I was looking for a noncreamy cucumber salad and this is perfect.

I love this. I don't add the dill, but I add thin sliced sweet onions. If you soak your cucumber in ice water for about 25 min. they will stay crispier longer, not that this won't go fast though.

This was SOOOO good! I made it the day before. I added a few slices of red onion to add color and more flavor and marinated it in Respberry vinaigrette dressing. EVERYONE loved it.

I have tried to make cucumber salad so many times and they all failed. When I made this one, my daughter tasted it and said I had finally found the right recipe, and ate the whole batch. They are great
